The Burraja Cultural Centre was originally established in 2012 and has a strong history of providing First Nations people in traditional knowledge, skills and tourism.

AWAHS became the auspice for Burraja Cultural Centre in March 2023 with the ambition for community to utilise the space to its full cultural potential.
This space is now used for:
Gathering place
Display Aboriginal and cultural heritage exhibits, artefacts and artwork
Provide cultural tours
Conduct cultural education, public and workshop programs
Offer a safe space for healing through culture
Burraja is open between 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday (except Victorian Public Holidays)
