AWAHS dental team includes the Dentist Dumi Medago, Dental Assistant Clare Biacsi and Oral health promotion worker Jannine Taylor, at the modern and sophisticated dental clinic we provide dental services to Aboriginal patients.
AWAHS dental has extended services with support of the POCHE institute in Sydney. The full time Oral Health Therapist and Trainee Dental Assistant conduct dental outreach programs to local schools and preschools targeting Indigenous kids. Also a second dental chair is dedicated to see children in a more relaxed and friendly environment.
At AWAHS we cover all aspects of Dental care including Dental check-ups, teeth cleaning, teeth whitening, dental fillings, dentures, crown and bridges, dental implants and oral surgery within the scope of our experience and skills.
Our aim is to provide better oral health to the Aboriginal community in the region through awareness, education and care. We understand the fears and myths associated with the dental treatment and are dedicated to providing excellent care in a relaxed environment with a calm and compassionate approach.
