Unfortunately due to NSW lockdown announcement today for the next 7 days AWAHS will operate as follows:
All COVID-19 Vaccine appointments will go ahead as scheduled. You will be contacted via phone before your appointment to confirm your attendance and to let you know of our current proceedings.
Transport will be suspended until further notice. If you have a specialist appointment which we would usually provide transport for please contact reception to arrange another alternative.
Face-to-face appointments will still occur unless deemed otherwise during our confirmation process with our admin staff. Phone consults are preferred to minimise the traffic through the service.
There will be a triage table set up for our communities safety, please do not enter the building until you have seen a health worker at this desk.
Our medical staff will be wearing PPE gear, this is to keep AWAHS employee’s and community members safe.
We ask all clients continue doing the right thing by wearing a mask, sanitising hands and staying at home unless absolutely necessary.
If you or anyone you know needs support during this time our duty officer and social emotional well-being staff are here to help. We will continue to update community with the latest news as we receive it.
Stay home, stay safe & stay deadly
Our brother boy Johnny Murray has an important message to community about staying home. 🏠 ✊🏾
